You’ve Just Booked Your Rebrand… Now What?

This Sunday marks my 7th Brandversary, so what better way to celebrate seven years in business than by giving you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look on my signature service, The Extravaganza?!

What Is The Extravaganza?

The Extravaganza is my DFY 12-week rebranding service for online service providers who want a brand that looks the part, acts the part & sells like it too. It's the service that founded my business, and the one thing I've offered since day one! I'm a designer at my core, and this is where I get to build YOUR brand from the ground up.

People ask about the 12 weeks A LOT. Usually, it's from folks who are more drawn to a VIP Day or a weekly sprint kind of setup, and I get the appeal! But after seven years, this is the container that works best for me, and therefore for you.

Not just because the happier I am doing the work, the better the work gets, but because this timeline lets us design your new visual identity and implement it across every platform your business already lives in.

I used to offer website and social assets as add-ons. But calling them "extras" meant I was treating implementation like it mattered less than the branding itself, when really, implementation is where the design  gets used, and where your audience actually experiences your brand.

So now the whole thing is covered end to end:

  • New logo, colors, and fonts? Check.
  • Website designed and launched? Check.
  • On-brand social templates ready to go? Check.

By the end of the 12 weeks, all that's left for you to do is launch it (and I'll even give you tips on how to make that launch feel like its own spotlight moment!)

How the Rebrand Process Kicks Off

Maybe you stalked my Instagram after a past client mentioned me, or took a cheeky look at my portfolio. However you got here, you're ready to rebrand. So you head to The Extravaganza sales page ,and fill out the inquiry form, telling me a bit about your business and what's pushing you toward a rebrand.

Once you submit, you'll get an email recapping rates, timelines, and a link to book a call.

On that call, I'll ask why you're excited to work together, whether you've worked with a designer before, and what you actually need. And once you've had your own spotlight moment sharing the details, I'll walk you through the process, what's included, payment plans, and how much input I'll need from you along the way.

After the call, I follow up via email within 24 hours with a form to sort your contract and invoice. The Extravaganza includes everything (branding, website, social media, even newsletter branding), so nothing here is an "a la carte" add-on.

Once your details come through, I send your contract via Adobe Sign and your first payment link. Most clients choose x4 monthly payments of 2,500€, though paying in full is an option too.

Contract signed, payment received: you're officially a client.

From there, you get your onboarding email with the link to our Notion portal, which becomes home base for everything: tasks, documents, deliverables, due dates & all project communication (making type-A eldest daughter me VERY happy).

Strategy, Mood Boards & Design

The moment I need the most from you is... right at the start! It can feel intimidating, but it's also what sets up a rebrand that does more than look pretty.

First, you'll fill out my Brand-Thinking Prompts, a questionnaire covering my five core pillars of building a brand: foundations, audience, positioning, identity & presence. It's long, and it's meant to be revisited any time you need to realign. A lot of clients tell me it's the first time in *years* they've actually sat with these questions, and how much it revealed about how far their business has come!

Then we book your strategy workshop, where I turn into my most annoying self and keep asking "why" until we hit the nitty gritty of what makes your brand YOURS. Writing the prompts first matters here. If I asked these questions cold, on a call, you'd feel put on the spot in the worst way. Writing gives you time to think it through before I start tugging at the threads.

After that comes my favorite part: a secret Pinterest board. We both pin at least 15 images that capture how we want your brand to look and feel, so when you say "bold," I know what your version of bold actually is. That shared visual language means when I move into creating your moodboards, I'm not guessing.

I build two mood boards, backed by everything from the strategy work — your audience, your positioning, a competitor analysis that shows what patterns exist in your industry, and whether we want to follow them or disrupt them.

You'll choose the one that makes you feel not just comfortable, but proud to show up in. Both solve the problem you came for, so it's really just a matter of preference!

From there, I go into my design dark corner and build your full visual identity: logo variations, colours, fonts, and how they all work together, alongside mockups of how it'll actually work in practise.

You get x2 rounds of revisions before we lock everything in.

Building the Website & Brand Assets

Once the visual identity is locked, we move into implementation, starting with the biggest piece, your website. Just like the branding phase, this starts with prompts and a workshop, this time focused on what you want your website to do for you.

Once I have your copy and images, I start with the shortest pages first (404, link-in-bio, contact form) to get the design gears turning, then move into your homepage. You'll get a live link to watch the wireframes come together, and from there we build out the rest: services, sales pages, maybe a blog, newsletter, or portfolio page, depending on your business.

For development, I usually recommend Showit or Webflow. Webflow tends to suit more mature sites with a lot of content types: think blog, AND podcast, AND portfolio. If we build there, my developer (the same one behind my own site) handles it. If we go with Showit, I build it myself.

I'm a firm believer that copy needs to come before design, so I'll point you toward my recommended copywriters or a DIY path, and, either way, we map out your website pages together. While you're finalising copy, I'm not sitting idle. I'm building your social media templates and newsletter design in parallel. For newsletters, I always recommend Flodesk* (affiliate link, 'cause I'm a proud partner) for how easily it keeps every email on brand. Your social pack includes 30-plus mix-and-match slides, a couple of reel covers, and mockups showing your feed before & after. I've even built a LinkedIn banner for a client whose main platform wasn't Instagram.

The goal is always to build for the platforms your business actually lives on.

Handover, Launch & What's Next

Once everything is implemented everywhere it needs to be, you get a Master Folder with every design asset, neatly organised.

I've never had a client ask where a file went, because there's a system. Alongside it, you get a Brand Style Guides so any future asset stays on-brand, which is also gold if you ever bring on a team!

We close with a grand finale call where I walk you through every asset and how to update your site with confidence. Inside Notion, you'll also find a feedback form, a website training library so you or your team can make updates down the line, and a handful of launch tips because after getting this intimate with your brand for 12 weeks, I always have more content ideas for you than I do for myself...

And that's it! Once we wrap, all you have to do is keep doing what you do best, now with a brand that actually looks & acts the part.

If this stirred up more questions, send them my way via email or Instagram DM! I might even turn the answer into a future episode. And if you're ready to go through the Extravaganza yourself, you can start your inquiry here.
